Kelli Pickler/Charley Jenkins Concert

We went to the Kelli Pickler/Charley Jenkins concert last weekend at the Sandy amphitheatre and had a blast. We had front row tickets which is always a plus. She is so cute! What you see is what you get. A real southern girl not claiming to be the brightest or smartest person in the world but real. Charley Jenkins got his start on Nashville star and is from Utah. We really enjoyed the concerts. They also had the Best of the West competition where they have 5 country singers compete and the audience voted for who they liked the best and that person received a recording album and $1000. We love going to concerts and we love all kinds of music.

Summer Fun

1. I suffer from a little OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder), color coding everything from clothes and closets to the candy in my hand, double checking things, everything in it's place type stuff. Control freak!!.....Sandon does this too!!



2. I can not live with out lotion. I can not stand washing my hands and not having lotion to put on right afterwards......I put my hands in fists until I can get my hands on lotion. Ask Doug, it's annoying.



3. I am so claustrophobic....If Doug feels like making me cry all he has to do is put a blanket on my and lay down I freak and start crying....pathetic huh! I have to have one leg out of the blankets when I sleep and absolutely no socks on.



4. Guilty pleasure....I am ready the twilight trilogy for the 2nd time and yes I am one of the looney's that is going to the midnight party on Aug 2nd when they release book #4. I'm hooked....Go EDWARD!!!!!!!



5. I am such a bad mom when it comes to bedtime routine....Doug and I are total night owls. We go to bed between 12:30 and 1:30am every night and a lot of times our kids do too. Although they sleep in until 10:30am. It's gonna be so hard to break when the kids are in real school!!!

6. I love dancing anywhere from clubs to concerts to the living room with the kids. I can't help but day dream about it especially when watching shows like so you think you can dance. I always think to myself....What would have happened if I would have gone to Portland to try out for the scholarship I was offered.......What could have been. Hopefully Raleigh will like it and I can live through her, or there is always the next eternity to dance

I'm so lame!!!!

I have been so lame with keeping up on my blog.....Sorry if anyone checked a couple times. Summer time is busy...kids keep you busy...work is really busy with it being summer time and everyone wanting their kids to have surgery over the summer. Doug and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary on the 1st of July and have been together 11 1/2 years. I still get excited when he comes home, and I love spending every minute with him. We have had so much fun these last 6 months since we have moved back to Utah. Our goal is to go out once a week on a date and it has worked wonders with our relationship. We have always been close but now we are so into each other it's like dating pre marriage and kids all over again. We also wanted to try new and fun things this year. We've gone to 4 concerts since march and have 4 more to go to in the next couple months. We're going to see 2 comedy shows in the next 2 weeks ( Frank Caliendo and Brian Regan) We've tried all kinds of new restaurants and styles of food...some good, some not so good!! We are so enjoying life right now. I love my husband sooooooo much and am so glad we can be together forever, I wouldn't have it any other way :)

A Day at Hogle Zoo

Raleigh freaked out and would not sit on any of the animals so I had to hold her and ride here instead. Of course when the ride was over and we were off of it she wanted to sit on the animals. Girls....Drama I tell you!!!

Poison Concert

We went to the Poison concert at the Energy solutions center last Thursday night. WOW....It was so awesome, it brought back so many memories of listening to rock as a kid....I had forgotten just how many hits they had. The piro effects were great, the band was fun and into the crowd. I would highly recommend seeing them if they are coming to your town.

Solution for water in the EYES

My kids absolutely hate water in their eyes, so I came up with the idea of goggles in the bath. It worked like magic.......Just see below.....Their faces were smooshed and looked so funny!!
