Curse or Coincidence

So last night I was telling Doug how I am not looking forward to this winter wondering what sicknesses the kids will get. Then I told him how I hate when the kids puke and Raleigh hasn't ever gotten the stomach flu. Well much to my surprise this morning at 5:00am I was woken up to the sound of puking. Raleigh puked in her crib and again 20 minutes later. I hate that smell!!! So my day started very early. Laundry was started and play time for Raleigh. I hate this time of year. Like Michael Scott said "This home (office) is cursed".

Joys of Motherhood

I bought Sandon some new church shoes yesterday and he has been dying to wear them. He came out of his room dressed like this for the day. I love being a mom on these days. His dad would be so proud!! Is he colorblind?? I laughed and told him he looked great. He said "Thanks Mom" I just have to smile:) This is a Halloween costume in itself.

Halloween Bunco Party!

Last night was our group Bunco night and we decided to make it a costume party. Of course only 4 of the 12 dressed up. Lame people huh! Halloween is my favorite Holiday of the year so of course I had to dress up. If you haven't guessed I'm the pregnant white trailer trash 3rd from the left. Like my empty beer bottle and cigarette behind my ear for effect. Poor baby inside!!! The lovely stick on tattoos are nice, not. I couldn't get them off so it now looks like the kids colored all over my arms. It was fun though, It's always nice to try and be something other than what you really are. It's the 1 time a year you can truly be anything you want to be, or in my case the 1 time a year for a good laugh. I don't think this outfit is appropriate enough for the ward Halloween party. What do you think??

The Pumpkin Patch

After bad directions and 2 days of driving the kids around, we finally found the famous pumpkin patch. Of course it was no where near the directions we had been given. We should have gone with our gut instinct which would have led us here in 10 min. Oh well. It was so cold out, the kids did really good with the cold. Raleigh finally broke down at the end. Sandon had a blast looking through all of the pumpkins trying to pick the perfect one. He did good on picking his pumpkin.

Sandon was in our room talking to us and walked out....2 minutes later literally, it was silent so I went to the living room to check on him and this is what we found.....He can fall asleep anywhere!

Haircut time

This is our own personal barber Dad. Sandon hates to get his haircut. It's always a traumatic experience for him as well as the one cutting his hair. Needless to say.....He is a big baby!!!

My kids like to eat top ramon with peas. They love slurping up the noodles so I thought I'd catch them on camera being pros at it.

Sandon helped me with baking some chocolate cake cookies. He had fun helping me mix the ingredients, but he especially liked rolling the chocolate balls in the powdered sugar before baking them. He got to lick the spoon can you tell?

The imagation box

Have you ever seen the episode from Spongebob Squarepants Where Spongebob and Patrick buy a big screen TV so they can play imagination in the box. This is exactly what my kids were doing. Grandma Keiko sent Dad a package of Seahawk stuff for the game that he went to in Arizona and the kids took over the box from there.

So the kids have figured out that you can buy cones from the store to make your own ice cream cones. Raleigh of course makes a huge mess. We've learned to invest in the mini ice cream cones now for her.
