House Sold!!!!

So we put an ad in the paper last Saturday and had a million people call and come over. A couple came over on Sunday and called us Sunday night to tell us they were making an offer on our house. We accepted and it's a done deal. Closes January 11, 2008. Wow it's weird to write 2008. Now we just need to find a place to live in Utah!!!! It will all work out in the end. It always does. We feel it's totally meant to be.

Santa Claus

I took the kids a month ago to get some professional pictures taken of them and have one taken for our Christmas photo. They were so naughty!!! I left the photography place and didn't order anything. I vowed that I was not going to do pictures this year. So all you get is this cheesy picture of the kids with Santa. Raleigh is screaming her head off because she is scared to death. Sandon was a trooper. So much for a great holiday photo!!!

A Snow day Yea!!

We woke up to a white yard full of snow. The first thing Sandon said when he saw it was " Mom I want to go play in the snow." Dad and Sandon got dressed and played snowball fight and built a snowman before coming in. Isn't it cute! The snow was all melted by the time we got home from church, but their snowman was still there smiling at us.

Sandon's new glasses

Sandon got glasses this week. We picked them up last Friday but the bridge is way too big and they keep sliding off. we have to get them resized tomorrow. Doesn't he look cute. We're hoping this will help his astigmatisms in both eyes and hopefully he won't have to wear them longer than a year. We'll see...

Sandon's 4th Birthday Party!!!

We celebrated Sandon's 4th Birthday last Thursday December 6. His real Birthday is on Christmas day so we like to celebrate it early and make it two separate occasions. He decided to have a bowling party at the new bowling alley here in town, so we invited all his cousins for a night of bowling and partying!!

Our Mini Richie (Grandma)

Here is our rag a muffin daughter!!! She is the spitting image of my Mom, Grandma Richie. Everyone says she looks just like her. This picture doesn't really do my mom justice, But it's cute anyway!

Packing up the Garage

Last weekend we filled up a Penske truck full of stuff we didn't need for awhile and drove to Utah and put it all in a storage unit. Basically everything we had in the garage. I don't think I have ever had a garage that was so clean and empty.

It's Autumn Time!

Daddy and Uncle Jay came home in the middle of the work day to pick some stuff up and Uncle Jay decided he would rake up all our leaves from our front tree into a huge pile. The kids had a good time playing in them. Sandon even lost my slipper that he was wearing in the big pile. I finally bagged them up this week. It took me 4 huge black garbage bags and a sore lower back from bending down to get rid of them all.

Turkey Trot Run

Well I ran my 2nd official 5k this morning in freezing cold weather like 28 degrees. There were 250 participants there. The local fire dept. hosted the Turkey Trot Run, and my sister-in-law Jill called me last night to tell me about it. Kind of last minute huh. It was a beautiful morning with blue skies and sun shining, just very cold. I finished in 27 minutes, so I beat my last time. I am very excited about that. This is getting addictive. I was still shivering when I got home and jumped straight into the hot shower. I used up all the hot water!! Next race...Moab 1/2 marathon in March??? I'll have to start training right away!!!

MOVING!!!

I've been slacking on the photos I know, but we've been busy trying to get things ready for our move back to Utah. Doug took a new job with his friend who bought a wholesale company. He wants Doug to start working now, so we've been busy getting the house put up for sale. We went to Utah over the weekend to look for places to live. I think we'll rent just to see how the job goes and we don't really want to settle for just any home. I'll keep you all posted!

Mom's First Official Race

Today was Mom's first official 5k run. I was really nervous about it because I've been sick for the last 2 weeks and haven't been able to run. I decided I would run it and if I got sick I'd walk. I Ran the whole race feeling great and finished in 28 minutes and 9th in my age group. There were over 500 participants running. I was so excited because that was a personal best for me. I started in the back so my real time is 27+mins. The race was for the "Girls on the Run" program through the elementary schools in the area. My Activity Day girls participate in this so I thought I would be a cool leader and do it with them. We all did great!! It was so much fun, now my new goal will be a 10K.

The Roof

Dad was up on the roof covering the swamp cooler when I heard my name being called to come outside. Doug said "Tiff look up here". Low and behold Sandon had climbed up the ladder onto our storage shed and up to the roof. What a daredevil. Someone must be looking out for us. This is one of those moments where you feel like a bad parent.

Play "Dough" Time

Raleigh was taking her afternoon nap so Sandon and I decided to play with some Play Dough. Here is Sandon with his Gordon train and troublesome trucks.

Happy Halloween with the Goodman's

So our new tradition for Halloween dinner is to make these cute Mummies. They were fast and easy. Sandon helped roll the dough and wrap it around the cheese stuffed hot dogs. They weren't that bad and I am not a hot dog person.

Sandon was dressed as Spongebob and Raleigh was a baby chick. She wouldn't stay still to take any pictures.

Sandon was squeezing so hard holding her hand so she would stay put. She ended up crying instead of running away.

Her costume had cute little mittens to keep her hands warm.

She was a mess from crying. Her hair bow is hanging out of her hood and her hair was everywhere. We haven't even left to trick or treat yet!

The kids did really good. Sandon walked pretty much the whole time while we trick or treated. We were smart with Raleigh and brought a little umbrella stroller and hooked her bucket on the side.
