Finally here

Sorry I'm lame and haven't updated my blog. We just got our internet connected again 2 days ago. I'll update it soon with pics. I am securing my blog so if you want to keep checking it out will you leave me your email address so I can add it to my protected site.

We're out of here!

We got home from our Vacation to Washington on the 5th of January. We were gone for 3 weeks. We had a great time visiting family, but it is always nice to get back home and stop living out of a suitcase. We found a Townhouse on Friday morning the 5th and are moving out this Friday the 11th. Nothing like last minute huh. We are so excited to be back in Utah where we love it. Doug is excited about his new job and the future possibilities. I'm excited to be back with friends, shopping, working, the old stomp ground. I am not excited about packing and unpacking and then possibly packing again as soon as 6 months from now. Ahhhhh!

Snoqualmie Pass AHHHHH!

So to get to Seattle we have to go over 3 large mountain passes. This is Snoqualmie pass in Washington on our way home. It was like this the whole way through. Of course I was freaked out....the kids were oblivious to it and Doug was calm. As we were coming out of it we saw 10 cars that had slid off the road coming the other direction. We felt very blessed to have gotten out safely!

Fun times in Seattle

We got to visit Grandpa Curt's Job at the Port of Tacoma. Sandon got to ride in his police car and push all the lights and alarm sounds. He smiled so big!! We got to have yummy hot chocolate while looking around. Sandon drank 2 cups of it!

We got to take the kids to the Rainforest Cafe for dinner. We sat right by the water fountain and Sandon couldn't leave it alone. The kids had a great time. Thank you Grandpa Curt!!

We also visited Grandma Keiko at her Restaurant. The kids loved the attention and Sandon got to use his very own chopsticks.

Christmas Day!

Christmas was a big day for our family. We woke up at 10:30am at Grandpa & Grandma Harmon's after our long night in the ER and enjoyed Christmas morning there. Next we went to my Grandparents house in Seattle University District, then we made our way down to Tacoma to spend the rest of the day with Grandpa and Grandma Moriyama. The kids had a blast and were spoiled spoiled spoiled!!!!!!

Guess who has Asthma?

We had to take Sandon into the ER on Christmas morning (12:00am) He had been non stop coughing. We put him to bed and kept checking on him and he was wheezing really bad and had rapid breathing. We called his Dr. in Colorado (We were in Seattle) and they told us to take him in. Of course I was freaking out cause this has never happened before, but his Dad has asthma and Sandon is allergic to everything under the moon so I should have been expecting it. Poor boy was so tired and we were finally discharged at 1:30am after he was given some breathing treatments and albuterol inhalers. Sandon is allergic to cats and dogs and every place that we stayed over our vacation for the holidays had a pet cat. This helped kick the asthma in gear along with a little cold.

Poor boy was so tired, he kept asking when we could go home. Once we got home to Grandma Richie's, Raleigh was still up waiting for us. Our kids slept in until 10:30 on Christmas morning.
