Beehive Cheese Factory

Sandon's preschool class went on a field trip today to the Beehive Cheese Factory by our house. They got to see how the cheese is made, and taste test it. They liked the famous squeaky cheese. I had to work this morning so Doug got the opportunity to take the kids....It's good for him!

A day at the Duck Pond

The weather the last couple of days has been so beautiful, so we decided to go to the duck pond and park by our house and take pictures of the kids. Sandon did great but Raleigh is at that age where she won't look at the camera. I bribed and bribed with "candy when we get home".

Trans Siberian Orchestra Concert

We had the opportunity last Thursday to go see the Trans Siberian Orchestra in concert with some friends of ours. If you ever get the chance to see them we highly recommend it. The music is awesome, and these are some of the most talented musicians you will ever hear. They start off with a Christmas musical and then they play for fun for an hour or so. They have so many pyrotechnics, laser lights, snow even. It was awesome. Sorry the video isn't all that great of quality but you get the hang of it!

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween everyone! The kids had a great time trick or treating this year before it started raining. We cut it short and visited some friends houses to let the kids say hi and show off their costumes. Until next year!!

Voting

I got up early this morning so I could get the kids and I ready on time to drop Sandon off at school and hurry to go stand in line to vote and be finished before I had to pick Sandon up from preschool. To my surprise.....I walked in gave them my name and went straight to the electronic booth to cast my vote. I guess I am one of the lucky few!!! I love when things go just right cause it is far and in between when it does. I hope everyone else had the same luck as I did. The only down side to it all was that we woke up to snow, rain, and slush, so everything was wet and cold. Raleigh and I had to shed our clothes when we got home cause they were soaked!! I hate being wet!

Halloween parties

So yesterday was our ward trunk or treat and dinner. The kids were so excited to go, Sandon kept counting down till it was time to go trunk or treating. This also happened to land on our good friends Sam and Kellie's Halloween party night. Enjoy!!

Sandon's preschool class had a field trip to our local fire station earlier this month, so it worked out perfect with Sandon's Halloween costume. It made him more excited to wear it.

Halloween Fun

My scary monsters. They had a lot of fun with these teeth once they learned how to put them in. Raleigh kept putting them in backwards and Sandon couldn't figure out how to keep them in his mouth.

We've made it a tradition that the kids get to pick their own pumpkin and paint it how ever they want to. Instead of carving a bunch of pumpkins we pick one big family pumpkin to carve and little ones for the kids. It's so much easier this way!

Dad always carves the family pumpkin. The kids chose what face they wanted on the pumpkin and Dad did it for them. Doesn't it look cute!! He did a good job. Thanks Dad!!!
