We decided to make it a tradition to make a family gingerbread house each Christmas. This was the first time that Doug or I had made one too. It was really easy and quite fun. The kids loved decorating it and eating a few pieces of the candy along the way not to mention a few mouthfuls of frosting.

Cute houses. We have always done a gingerbread village (out of graham crackers- which I never understood) at my grandma's house.

Wow! Way cute! Ours did not turn out like that...I lack creativity when it comes to this.
