10 yrs ago:
Doug and I had our 1 year dating anniversary, I was working at KayeSmith business graphics bringing home the bacon. I lived at home with Mom and Dad still....I taught primary (and have ever since) I was having so much freedom and fun without kids and a husband. Danced every weekend and Doug was my date....Oh the good old days! I would go back in a heartbeat!!

5 things on my to-do-list:
-finish my college degree
-have another baby
-read my quad before the end of the year
-get my kids to bed before midnight
-run a half marathon

What would I do if I became a billionaire:
I would pay all bills, give some to family, finish college, start own business, travel around world doing charity work through the church and I'd have to do some serious clothes shopping!!!!! hire a maid.

HUSBAND-
-My husbands name is Doug Goodman Jr.
-We have been married for 7 years and 8 months
-How long did we date?by church standards far too long!! We started dating when we were 18 So that would make it 3 1/2 yrs. Since Jan 4, 1997. (11 years together)
-Who eats more: Doug unless it's chocolate
-Who said I love you first. I did, but Doug's was more romantic
-Who sings better: I could take Doug any day at Karaoke
-Who is taller: Doug by 7 inches
-Whose temper is worse: pretty even we both need more patience with the kids
-Who does the laundry: That would be me! Doug can do it but I don't like my clothes to be smaller or discolored when he is done doing it.
-Who does the dishes: I do, it's that OCD thing. I like everything done my way. Doug will do it if I ask or if he knows I've had a long day.
-Who sleeps on the right side of the bed: me always
-Who cooks: me, Doug does the warming up of things, ordering, or picking up of food
-Who is more stubborn: Definitely Doug
-Who proposed- Doug did, Valentines day 2000, we married on July 1st 2000.
-Whose parents do we see more often- My parents
-Who pays the bills:Doug does, I had to give it up last year when it was too over whelming with 2 kids
-Who wears the pants in the family: me, but I like to let Doug think he does
-Why do I love my husband: So many reasons why, He is a hard worker. He loves to help others, sometimes too much. He knows how to make or fix anything which I absolutely love and he'll do it when I ask so it doesn't lay around the house forever. He is smart and very outgoing and well liked by everyone. we have so much in common. We love the same music, comedy, movies, foods, tv shows etc. He likes to shop and so do I. He loves to take me shopping and pick out stuff with me. He likes to do fun things together like going to concerts (linkin park and rascal flatts next week). He is always thinking of me when he is out and brings me home little things that he remembers that I .(thats how I know that he actually is listening to me) He plays with the kids and gives me my time away from them. He compliments me on how I look which makes me feel good. He leaves me little notes of appreciation and I do appreciate that. He is very funny and we always have a good time together. He helps me feel confident and brings me out of my shell. He encourages me to go out and have fun with my friends. He encourages me to learn and do new things. He is supportive of my decisions to try new things. He is a worthy priesthood holder, a true best friend, and lover. I believe he is my one true soul mate!!!

Snowed In

It has snowed non stop since we've been here. I am so sick of snow!! Here are some pictures of what we have lived in the last few weeks.....It is snowing right now outside as I am writing this!!! AHHHHHHHH!

Oh...Good Morning. So sick of Scraping snow off my car and digging paths to the street.

Sandon's first day of Preschool

One of the great things about moving here was that Sandon would be able to go to preschool. This is the morning of his first day of school. He was so excited to be able to wear his backpack for school. My friend runs a preschool out of her home. Sandon is in a class of 8 kids. He loves it!! When I pick him up from school he can't wait to tell me what they learned that day...like the letter of the day and words that start with it, what activities they did, what they had for snacks, what he did at recess. He loves to bring things to school for show and tell or letter of the day. He always asks me what Raleigh and I did together while he was in school, it's very cute. One of the first days he went Doug was taking him to school so before he walked out the door he said " Mom have fun with Raleigh ok!"

Good Times at our New House

Sorry it's taken me so long to get a new post up. We are finally all unpacked we just have some photos and shelves to put up. The kids have transitioned perfectly and love it here. Things have definately been busy for us. I got a new job with a Dr. office part time, Doug and I had the flu last week and the kids have been fighting colds. We have already begun to make memories here and want to share those with you.....in order.....Sandon and Raleigh helping me frost a cake with chocolate frosting. I gave them little scoops of frosting on spoons and Raleigh managed to stick her spoon in the middle of the cake and scooped it up! The kids have a new babysitter named Jennika and they love her!! The kids love playing dress up. Sandon doesn't mind that most of the dress up stuff is girly. They had a little dress up party at their friends Collin and Kayla's house.

Sorry I'm lame and haven't updated my blog. We just got our internet connected again 2 days ago. I'll update it soon with pics. I am securing my blog so if you want to keep checking it out will you leave me your email address so I can add it to my protected site.

We got home from our Vacation to Washington on the 5th of January. We were gone for 3 weeks. We had a great time visiting family, but it is always nice to get back home and stop living out of a suitcase. We found a Townhouse on Friday morning the 5th and are moving out this Friday the 11th. Nothing like last minute huh. We are so excited to be back in Utah where we love it. Doug is excited about his new job and the future possibilities. I'm excited to be back with friends, shopping, working, the old stomp ground. I am not excited about packing and unpacking and then possibly packing again as soon as 6 months from now. Ahhhhh!
